Contract-to-Hire Services

In many ways, a Contract-to-Hire situation represents the best possible way to screen potential candidates for long-term positions. Such a scenario enables both parties to evaluate the candidate's suitability not only in terms of performance specifics, but also intangibles such as comfort within the general company culture or working for a particular Manager, etc.

Contract-to-Hire situations are common in Information Technology as well as in Administrative and Support areas. Candidates can be brought in to work for a certain period of time and then the assignment can end, or an offer can be extended. (A limitation of contract-to-hire is that frequently, entrenched candidates in full-time positions will not sacrifice their employment for a contract-to-hire scenario.)

While "on contract" the candidate will be employed by Stone Search Services. You will be billed for an hourly rate, based on what a full-time salary would be. There would be a placement fee, based on a percentage of first-year salary, if the candidate were permanently hired.

As with all assignments, Stone Search Service personnel would make it their business to get to know your situation, culture, requirements, challenges, etc., and screen accordingly. Candidates presented would be qualified, comfortable with the salary range and interested in full-time employment.
