Retained Search

When we perform a Retained Search, we establish an agreed-upon fee, payment schedule, and a time-frame for the project. Payment is not contingent on placement but rather is for the entire search process. Clients enter into Retained Search contracts because they have discovered that the recruiting and filling of executive and/or positions requiring specific technical, managerial or other high-level expertise are time-consuming, demanding processes. Stone Search has the skills and resources to conduct effective, confidential searches on a client's behalf.

The Stone Search Management Team has a collective 70 years of search experience. We have a deep understanding of the search process, recruitment issues, market conditions and regulatory requirements, which we bring to bear when developing and fulfilling custom search contracts.

Retained Searches should be considered when:

Outsourced Recruiting

When we enter into an Outsourced Recruiting Engagement, we function as an external human resource/recruiting person or department for your company. We can handle the entire process, from developing job descriptions and determining the key skill-based, attitudinal and interpersonal requirements, through the sourcing, screening and hiring of candidates. We can also customize a program that blends our services with in-house personnel as needed.

Outsourced Recruiting should be considered when:

  • Your hiring needs are intermittent and you can't justify having a full-time in-house Human Resource person or staff.
  • A specific situation requires a high-volume of hiring in a short time.
  • You need help evaluating candidates for highly-technical and/or critical skill-specific postions.
